How does that fit into the argument of private universities having both excellent academic and athletic programs? Maybe Tulane should pattern itself after those two schools, instead of Emory or Washington in St Louis, as I heard reported a few weeks back. ***** President Cowen YOU ARE THE MAN! After you finish dismantling the BCS, please run for President of the United States of America! Every fan outside of the BCS will vote for you! Seriously, thank you for having the courage to address this issue. I cannot believe that so many people have allowed the BCS to exist for so long. I believe you have millions of supporters. I hope the momentum will build as people hear about what you are doing. I'm sure it will. I'm just a fan of college football, but if there is anything I can do to help, please let me know.
